    • In the present invention, several solutions to secure stability of farmed seafood and reduce the purchase cost of feed mixtures by realizing eco-friendly farming were devised. First, when a filtrate of loess suspension was mixed with a feed mixture to make a paste, the paste had good viscosity, leading to construction of a stable farming environment, thereby preventing fish diseases and thus opening possibilities of producing stable farmed seafood without using antibiotics. The farming of eel in the filtrate of loess suspension before shipment resulted in the removal of pond scum smells of eel itself, thereby producing high-quality eel having a good chewy texture. Therefore, the present invention is useful in increasing competitiveness of the eel farming industry of Korea that is suffering from a triple distress such as a rise in the international oil price and a jump in the international fish meal price.
