摘要： PURPOSE: A safety system of a portable gas burner is provided to prevent gas leakage by automatically separating a gas case from a gas supply part with a lever via a touch bar formed in an ignition switch to push an extension piece of a link connected to the lever as the ignition switch is turned off. CONSTITUTION: A safety system of a portable gas burner includes an extension piece(18) formed at a selected position of a link(17) connected to a lever(15) toward an ignition switch(14), and a touch bar(19) mounted at a side of an inner surface of the ignition switch for pushing a bottom part of the extension piece when the ignition switch operates from an ON-direction to an OFF-direction, wherein the touch bar is formed with a sharp front end part and a widely spreading rear part, and extended to reach a lower part of the link to directly touch the link.
