Pressing pieces (71) and insulating caps (72) are inputted from a hopper (31) through a plurality of supply tubes (35), so as for the pieces and caps (71)(72) to be carried by the carrying device (10). A pressing device (50) includes a pressing section (56) for pressing the insulating caps (72), and a movable plate (61) moves to and fro to assemble the metallic pressing pieces to the insulating caps made of a soft synthetic resin. With the apparatus, the productivity is improved.
