摘要： PURPOSE: A method for editing a short message in a mobile communication terminal is provided to store words and sentences being frequently used previously and then use the stored words and sentences when editing the short message, so that the message editing can be performed easily. CONSTITUTION: A user interface unit(20) receives an input of a subscriber through a keypad of a mobile communication terminal and converts the input into the corresponding command within the terminal. A memory unit(25) stores an operation program and the necessary data. A shortened key designation region(26) stores the shortened message to be connected to each shortened key. A first to an N-th edit regions(26) stores shortened messages of each edit region. A priority order storage region(28) stores the order of the shortened message used frequently. A communication block(22) converts the binary data like audio information or short message inputted from the mobile communication terminal and then inputs the converted signal to an RF circuit(23). The RF circuit(23) processes the converted signal for transmitting by wireless. A control unit(21) controls the whole elements of the mobile communication terminal by the operation program.
