    • PURPOSE: To provide a fragrance emitting photocatalyst sol having characteristics of disinfecting microorganisms and decomposing thus eliminating formaldehyde and volatile organic compounds while maintaining fragrance under the sunlight or in the visible ray range by reacting fruit scented materials, flower scented materials, etc. with photocatalyst in a certain ratio, and a method for preparing the same. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing a fragrance emitting photocatalyst sol comprises a step (a) of dissolving one or more fragrance materials derived from natural substances selected from the group consisting of cucumber, lemon, lemon lime, peach, strawberry, apple, grape, cherry, vanilla, Chinese quince, citron, orange, rose, rosemary, pine, herb, potpourri, acacia, freesia, floral, lilac, lily, forest, hazelnuts, mint, grass flower, lavender, peppermint, green tea and jasmine fragrances into an organic solvent; a step (b) of preparing a mixed solution by adding distilled water to the dissolved solution after dissolving isopropoxide (Ti(OCH(CH3)2)4) or zinc nitrate (Zn(NO3)26H2O) into the fragrance material dissolved organic solvent; and a step (c) of obtaining a photocatalyst sol (TiO2 sol or ZnO sol) impregnated with the fragrance materials derived from natural substances by reacting reactants as adding strong acid to the mixed solution.
