    • 본 발명은 슈퍼하이텐설 스틸코드용 소선 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 탄소함량이 0.80 ~ 0.86wt%인 와이어로드를 신선하는 1차 가공단계와, 상기 1차 가공 후 중간열처리 및 도금을 한 다음 97.5% 이상 100% 보다 작은 감면율을 갖도록 습식신선 가공하여 소선을 수득하는 2차 가공단계를 포함한다.
      이러한 본 발명은 상대적으로 탄소함량이 적은 하이텐설(HT)용 와이어로드를 이용하여 슈퍼하이텐설(SHT) 스틸코드용 소선을 제조함에 따라, 소선 제조 시 단선발생을 감소시켜 생산성을 향상시키고 제조비용을 절감할 수 있다.
      또한, 본 발명을 이용해 제조한 스틸코드는, 중량이 상대적으로 경감되고 직경이 축소되므로, 타이어 제조 시 스틸코드 사용량을 감소시켜 타이어 경량화 및 주행시 구름저항 감소로 인한 연비성능 향상의 효과를 기대할 수 있으며, 스틸코드 토핑 작업 시 고무 두께를 얇게 할 수 있어 타이어를 경량화시킬 수 있다.

    • PURPOSE: A steel cord of 1x2 structure and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to enhance interface with rubber and to improve coverage. CONSTITUTION: A steel cord of 1x2 structure has partial or repetitive pressing part at a strand among two filaments. The ratio of pressed part and non-pressed part of the filament is 0.5-2 times. A method for manufacturing a steel cord comprises: a step of processing a wire rod containing 0.70-1.0% of carbon; a step of covering the processed metal inside by heating at 900-1100°C; a step of patenting in a conventional method; a step of plating the outer circumference with brass; a step of shrinking the diameter of filament; and a step of twisting the filaments.

    • A steel cord for a vehicle tire is provided to improve the penetration of rubber into a core line, thereby increasing the adhering ratio of rubber to the steel cord and improving the durability of the vehicle tire. A steel cord is used to enhance a rubber product of a vehicle tire. The steel cord has a 2+5 twist structure consisting of two core lines and five lateral lines. A twist direction of the two core lines is opposite to a twist direction of the five lateral lines. A diameter of the lateral line corresponds to 140-200 % of a diameter of the core line. The diameter of the lateral line and the diameter of the core line are within 0.1-0.4 mm, respectively.
