    • The present invention relates to a structure of an inhibitor switch, more specifically, to a structure of an inhibitor switch which can prevent electric contact failure caused by foreign materials existing in the switch. The structure of an inhibitor switch comprises: a housing whereby a first terminal and a second terminal are mounted on the upper face apart from each other, and a receiving groove and a projection are formed between the first terminal and the second terminal; a rotor rotatably mounted on the housing; a contactor mounted under the rotor and selectively connecting to the first terminal and the second terminal when the rotor rotates to electrically connect or disconnect the first terminal and the second terminal. A discharging groove is formed under the contactor along the movement of the contactor. The maximum distance between one end and the other end of the discharging groove is larger than the width of the receiving groove. The discharging groove and the receiving groove are communicated with each other, and thus foreign materials located in the first terminal and the second terminal are accommodated in the receiving groove.

According to the present invention as described above, an absolute angle of an angle of the rotation of the handle is calculated, and the rotation angle of the handle can be accurately measured based on the calculated absolute angle and a gear ratio.
