    • An artificial bank for coastal wetland restoration and a coastal wetland restoration method using the same are provided to minimize the loss of seeds or sprouting buds by waves, tide currents, etc. and to improve the settlement rate of seeds or sprouting buds of salt plants. A coastal wetland restoration method using an artificial bank comprises the steps of sowing, planting or transplanting seeds or grouting buds of one or more kinds of salt plants in a coastal wetland, and installing a fence type artificial bank(1) composed of one or more than two fences having the height of 0.1~10m from the surface of the wetland, the appointed thickness and the appointed size, as a fence type artificial bank for catching seeds or grouting buds of salt plants moving together with seawater retreating toward the sea, to make the lower part of the fence type artificial bank to be adhered closely to the bottom of the wetland between the location of the seeds or grouting buds of the salt plants and the location of seawater at low tide.

    • PURPOSE: An ascidians transplanting tool and a marine ecosystem restoration method using the same is provided to make the use of the tool simple and to firmly fix an Ascidians transplant seeding on the ocean floor bedrock and sand despite having a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A support stand(10) is combined by a hinge shaft(20) with two sticks arranged in an X-shape or cross-shape. A compressed spring(30) forms an inner angle of 45-135 degrees with two sticks combined to both sides on each sticks forming the support stand without compression. A penetration hole(40) is formed in which the ascidians are inserted and fixed in the middle of the hinge shaft. One or more penetration holes are formed to insert and fix the Ascidians on the support stand. A spike(50) is equipped at each end of the two sticks which forms the support stand. The ascidians transplanting tool additionally contains a body for a spike fixation in a bar shape combined in a downward direction to have an inner angle of 60-120 degrees at the end of each stick which forms the support stand. The spike is fixed to form an inner angle of 30-120 degrees in an upward direction with the outer side of the spike fixation body. A length extension means(70) is additionally equipped to extend the length of a stick at the each end of two sticks which form the support stand. The two sticks for the support stand are made of a stainless steel, FRP, or an reinforced plastic material.
