    • 본 발명은 반대 방향으로 회전하는 한쌍의 주조롤과, 상기 주조롤의 양 측면에 설치되어 용강의 유출을 방지하는 에지댐을 포함하는 쌍롤식 박판 주조기에 관한 것으로, 상기 한쌍의 주조롤은 양단의 외주부가 돌출되도록 형성되어 상기 한 쌍의 주조롤이 회전시 상기 외주부가 서로 접촉되도록 설치되고, 상기 에지댐은 내화물이 상기 한쌍의 주조롤의 외주부 사이에 삽입되어 설치된 것을 특징으로 하는 쌍롤식 박판 주조기를 제공한다.
      본 발명에 의하면, 에지댐의 내화물이 전진 이동하지 않아 항상 일정한 폭을 갖는 주편을 안정적으로 주조할 수 있고, 에지댐의 내화물의 가동면과 주조롤의 마찰 및 손상에 의한 주편의 에지부 형상 불량이 발생하지 않으며, 한쌍의 주조롤 양단의 외주부가 맞닿는 면만 마모되기 때문에 기존의 에지댐 제어 방법과는 달리 하방 쉬프트 제어를 실시함에 의해 제어가 간편하고, 씰링성이 우수하며, 용강의 유출 방지 효과가 크므로 주조 안정성도 우수한 효과가 있다.

The packers have a diameter larger than that of the pullback cylinder heads such that the fixed pullback cylinder heads are movable, and the packers have a projection part(117) formed in an upper portion of the inner diameter thereof in a size as large as a difference between the inner diameter of the packers and the diameter of the pullback cylinders.
