    • PURPOSE: A process for preparing sintered ores is provided, which is utilized in the DWIGHT LLOYD to have a homogeneous shape and stress, to improve the rotatory force and the degree of recovery. CONSTITUTION: The process is comprised of a first filing step, a second filing step and a sintering step. The first step is characterized by filing a standard formulation source to the height of about 80 to 90%, based on the height from the bottom to the top of the sintering port. The second step is performed in that the remaining being from the first step is filed by the additional high melting formulation source containing melting agents and fuels. The standard source is comprised of 17.8% of melting agent slags and 3.8% of coke powders, and the additional high melting source is of 18.4 to 19.3% of melting agent slags and 4.4 to 5.6% of coke powders, based on the weight of entire source.

    • PURPOSE: A sintered ore manufacturing method by two-step firing is provided to improve sintering productivity and quality of sintered ore by repeatedly heating sintered ore using ignition furnaces installed on sintering bed in the sintering process.
