According to the present invention, the method to upgrade a file for a plurality of M2M devices comprises the steps of: (a) allowing an upgrade management unit to determine an upgrade group to transmit an upgrade file to the M2M terminals; (b) allowing the upgrade management unit to allocate a multicast channel to transmit the upgrade file to the upgrade group on a network; (c) allowing at least one M2M terminal included in the upgrade group to receive the upgrade file transmitted through the multicast channel from a file server; (d) allowing the upgrade management unit to check the transmission result of the upgrade file for at least one M2M terminal included in the upgrade group, and re-determine an upgrade group; and (e) repeating steps (b)-(d) until the upgrade file is completely transmitted to all of the M2M terminals.
