    • PURPOSE: An application layer self-diagnosis apparatus and method in a home location register(HLR) is provided to save the maintenance cost and improve the reliability to the system by storing messages processed in the application layer of the HLR in a shared memory and displaying the messages to perform the self-diagnosis. CONSTITUTION: If an operator inputs self-diagnosis items, a previous day received message storage, and a current time in a MAP and sets a program environment for self-diagnosing a TCAP and the MAP(S100), a monitoring process judges whether messages transmitted from the MAP and the TCAP are received in a shared memory(S200). If the messages transmitted from the MAP and the TCAP are received in the shared memory, the monitoring process checks a time in which message are received(S300). If the monitoring process judges whether the current time is identical to the time in which messages are received(S400). If the current time is identical to the time in which messages are received, the monitoring process stores a current received message(S500). The monitoring process judges whether a data quantity received in the current time or the previous time is more than the self-diagnosis items(S600). If the data quantity received in the current time or the previous time is less than the self-diagnosis items, a display unit displays messages stored in the monitoring process to show the messages to the operator(S700). If the current time is not identical to the time in which messages are received, messages received in the previous time are stored(S410). If the data quantity received in the current time or the previous time is more than the self-diagnosis items, the messages stored in the shared memory are cleared for stably driving a system(S420).

    • PURPOSE: A method for monitoring HLR No.7 data is provided to monitor all the messages incoming from a signaling point and to rapidly and simply solve a problem generated in connection with a signaling point by monitoring only the signaling point. CONSTITUTION: A user inputs a command composed of an associated process name, the status of trace function on/off and a signaling point(S1). The user stores the status of trace function on/off in a shared memory(S2). An HLR receives a message from an exchange(S3). The HLR reads the data of the shared memory and judges whether the trace function of the signaling point is in the 'on' state(S4). In case that the trace function of the signaling point is in the 'on' state, the HLR judges whether the OPC(Origination Point Code) of the message is identical to a trace signaling point number(S5). In case that the OPC is identical to the trace signaling point number, the HLR displays the message and recovers a file(S6).

    • PURPOSE: A data debugging method and data trace device of a home location register(HLR), is provided to trace the processing of subscriber information which a data handling process receives from an operation and maintenance process(OMP) in order to easily debug data, and to perform a debugging process with confirming a log file and correcting a program of the data handling process so that a print route essential for performing conventional data debugging can be eliminated. And the method and device enables easily confirm data afterwards by keeping the data with the log file. CONSTITUTION: Data of a shared memory inside a data handling process which processes user information are retrieved to discriminate whether an error is generated in data processing of the data handling process. If so, a log file in a log directory is confirmed and a program having an error is corrected. Data are re-inputted through an operation and maintenance process(OMP). Whether the program has an error is decided with the re-inputted data. And if an error is re-generated after the correction, the program is re-corrected and data are again re-inputted to correct the program having an error.

    • PURPOSE: A method for tracking message between an OMP(Operation and Maintenance Processor) in a mobile communication network and a main control processor is provided to understand a cause of problem and solve rapidly the problem, by making messages in interworking between TDBMD(Tandem Database Management Daemon) and OMP in form of Log File and viewing the Log File.
