    • The present invention relates to a polymerization initiator and a modified-conjugated diene polymer prepared by using the same, and more specifically, to a polymerization initiator represented by chemical formula 1 below (R_1 to R_5 are independently hydrogen, or C1-C10 alkyl group or carbanion thereof; n^1, meaning the number of negative charges, is 1^- to 5^-; M is metal; n is equal as the number of carbanions); and to a modified-conjugated diene polymer prepared by using the same. The modified-conjugated diene polymer prepared by using the polymerization initiator of the present invention has a higher vinyl content than a polymer prepared by using the existing organic lithium initiator. Therefore, the modified-conjugated diene polymer of the present invention has remarkably compatibility with an inorganic filler, which is included in a rubber composition for tire treads including the modified-conjugated diene of the present invention, when compared with the existing products, thereby eventually improving the wear-resistant performance and exhibiting a high water resistance value and a low rotation resistance value.

    • PURPOSE: A modified polymerization initiator is provided to prepare a conjugated diene-based compound in which the end is modified, having excellent braking power, wear performance and fuel efficiency and to perform the coupling capable of improving the molecular weight through the coupling reaction of the conjugated diene-based compound. CONSTITUTION: A modified polymerization initiator is obtained by modifying a polymerization initiator with a pyridine-based compound represented by chemical formula 1, wherein R1 and R2 are the same or different and represent hydrogen or C1~10 alkyl group; and n is 2~5. The molar ratio of a pyridine-based compound represented by chemical formula 1 to a polymerization initiator is 0.01:1~0.9:1. The terminal-modified conjugated diene-based compound is prepared using the modified polymerization initiator.
