    • PURPOSE: A processing auxiliary composition of a thermoplastic resin, its preparation method and a vinyl chloride-based resin containing the processing auxiliary are provided, to improve molecular weight and dispersion by maintaining the acidity to be steady during polymerization, thereby enhancing gelling property of a vinyl chloride resin during melting process and reducing the generation of fish-eye and flow mark without deterioration of inherent physical properties. CONSTITUTION: The processing auxiliary composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a copolymer which comprises 60-95 wt% of methyl methacrylate, and 5-40 wt% of at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of a linear, branched or cyclic alkyl acrylate having C1-C18 alkyl group and a linear or cyclic alkyl methacrylate having C2-C18 alkyl group; and more than 0.01 and less than 1 part by weight of an inorganic salt. Preferably the inorganic salt is at least one selected from the group consisting of Na2HPO4, NaH2PO4, K2HPO4, KH2PO4, Na2CO3, NaHCO3, CH3COONa and NH4Cl.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a processing aid copolymer composition, which has excellent powder flow property at a high temperature and minimizes adhesion to a metal surface of a processing machine during the processing of vinyl chloride resins, thereby showing excellent long-term workability. CONSTITUTION: The processing aid copolymer composition comprises: 50-80 parts by weight of a core copolymer composed of an aromatic vinyl monomer and an alkyl acrylate; and 20-50 parts by weight of a shell copolymer based on methyl methacrylate monomer, an aromatic vinyl monomer and an unsaturated organic acid monomer. Particularly, the core copolymer comprises 40-70 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl monomer and 30-60 parts by weight of an alkyl acrylate, and the shell copolymer comprises 50-98 parts by weight of methyl methacrylate monomer, 1-49 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl monomer and 1-10 parts by weight of an unsaturated organic acid.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a processing aid composition for thermoplastic resins, which shortens the time needed for melting thermoplastic resins when processing them, improves foaming property and processability, and reduces fish-eyes and flow marks in a extrusion or calendering process. CONSTITUTION: The processing aid composition for thermoplastic resins comprises: (a) 70-95 wt% of a low-molecular weight copolymer having a weight average molecular weight of 200,000 to 1,500,000, which contains (i) 65-90 wt% of methyl methacrylate, and (ii) 10-35 wt% of at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of acrylates, methacrylates and mixtures thereof; and (b) 5-30 wt% of a high-molecular weight copolymer having a weight average molecular weight of 2,500,000 to 12,000,000, which contains (i) 70-95 wt% of methyl methacrylate, and (ii) 5-30 wt% of at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of acrylates, methacrylates and mixtures thereof.

    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing an acryl-based impact reinforcing agent and a PVC composition containing the impact reinforcing agent prepared by the method are provided, to improve the heat stability and the dynamic stability of PVC. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of polymerizing a seed, a core rubber layer and a shell, respectively and three times; mixing the polymerized latex with an emulsifier such as a saturated or unsaturated fatty acid salt and agglomerating the mixture by using a water-soluble salt having a two or three valent cation to prepare dry powdered acryl-based impact reinforcing agent. The seed and the core rubber layer comprise 70-95 wt% of an alkyl acrylate. The PVC composition comprises 80-99 wt% of a poly(vinyl chloride) resin; and 1-20 wt% of the impact reinforcing agent prepared by the method.
