An insertion slot(24) is formed at one side of the main substrate, and a terminal through hole(27) is formed adjacent to the insertion slot. A sub substrate(30) has an insertion part(34) inserted in the insertion slot and a connector(37) installed so as to have a step coverage with respect to the insertion part. A terminal(38) of the connector is inserted in the terminal through hole. The sub substrate is soldered with the insertion part inserted in the insertion slot. The sub substrate is installed to be at right angles to the main substrate as the terminal of the connector is inserted and soldered in the terminal through hole.

    • PURPOSE: An automatic cooking compensating apparatus for a microwave oven and its method are provided to solve the cooking time data compensation of an automatic cooking menu in spite of the ports of the microcomputer. CONSTITUTION: The automatic cooking compensating apparatus for a microwave oven comprises a key matrix(21b) for scanning the keys and for generating the signal corresponding to the selected key, an automatic cooking data changing detection circuit(21a) for generating a plurality of analog signals through the key matrix output ports when the data is changed, and a microcomputer for connecting its input ports to key matrix output ports and for reading the output signal of the automatic cooking data changing detection unit by assigning the input ports as analog ports when the initial power is supplied to the microcomputer and for changing the input ports to the key input ports to read the selected key during the main menu is operating. The compensation method includes the steps of assigning the key input ports as analog ports after power is supplied, reading and saving the automatic cooking compensation data via analog ports, changing the key input ports to the general key signal input ports, determining whether the selected cooking menu requires the compensation, and compensating the cooking time by using the saved compensation data. The automatic cooking data changing detection circuit has a plurality of resistors(R5¯R9) connected in parallel with the data change output port(O1) of the microcomputer and a plurality of pull-down resistors(R11-R14), and a plurality of diodes(D1¯D5). Each resistor is connected in series with a corresponding diode and a corresponding pull-down resistor to read the input ports(I1 ¯I5) of the microcomputer, which provides the variable ports as many as the rows of the key matrix.
