The antibiotic nano carbon ball is characterized in that 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one represented by the formula(1) is impregnated on a nano carbon ball consisting of a spherical hollow core portion and a mesoporous carbon shell portion. The impregnation amount of the 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one regarding the total weight of the nano carbon ball is 0.01-20 wt.%.
