    • PURPOSE: A device for forming patterns for a light guide plate is provided to form light guide pattern units on a large light guide plate by mechanically moving at least one mirror header unit, and reduce a processing time by increasing moving speed of a header moving unit. CONSTITUTION: A pattern designing system(71) has data related to patterns to be formed on a light guide plate(21). A control system(72) is connected with the pattern designing system for transmitting a position signal consistent with coordinates of each pattern. A header moving unit(74) mechanically moves in all directions according to the position signal received from the control system. A laser system(73) outputs laser beams by the movement of the header moving unit and synchronized pulse signals. A lens part(75) makes the laser beams focused on a scanning surface(21a) of the light guide plate via the header moving unit. A vacuum unit(410) is installed to prevent the light guide plate from getting bent due to local heating of the laser beams. A blowing unit(600) is installed to remove smoke generated while a plurality of light guide pattern units(25) on the light guide plate.

First and second electrodes X,Y(171,172) having different polarities are formed in a predetermined pattern on a bottom surface of the rear surface substrate.
