CONSTITUTION: The method for constructing a double-structural well(10) for remediation of contaminated soil and underground water comprises a step (a) of drilling a hole having certain depth and diameter at a double-structural well installation position; a step (b) of inserting the double-structural well into the drilled hole; a step (c) of forming first filter bag section(50) by filling gravel in the drilled hole in such a manner that the gravel covers all screens(24) for aquifer; a step (d) of forming an aquifer casing section(60) by filling bentonite from an upper part of the first filter bag section to a lower part of screens(14) for unsaturated zone; a step (e) of forming second filter bag section(70) by filling gravel in an upper part of the aquifer casing section in such a way that the gravel covers all of the screens for unsaturated zone; a step (f) of forming an unsaturated zone casing section(80) having certain length by filling bentonite in an upper part of the second filter bag section; and a step (g) of filling a finishing material(90) obtained by mixing cement with bentonite from the unsaturated zone casing section to the ground surface.

    • PURPOSE: A double-structural well for remediating contaminated soil and underground water by injecting air into unsaturated zone of underground and extracting air from the unsaturated zone and injecting air into aquifer of underground at the same time is provided. CONSTITUTION: The double-structural well(10) comprises an unsaturated zone extraction well(12) which has a certain length, and on a lower outer circumferential surface of which a plurality of screens are formed to extract air in unsaturated zone; an aquifer injection well(22) which is extended from a lower part of the unsaturated zone extraction well in such a manner that the aquifer injection well is blocked from the unsaturated zone extraction well, and on a lower outer circumferential surface of which a plurality of screens are formed to inject air into aquifer; and an air supply pipe(20) installed in the unsaturated zone extraction well and connected with the aquifer injection well to supply air into the aquifer injection well from the outside, wherein the unsaturated zone extraction well and the aquifer injection well are formed in a cylindrical pipe shape, the air supply pipe is positioned in the center of the unsaturated zone extraction well, and a blocking block is installed at a lower part of the unsaturated zone extraction well in such a way that the blocking block is contacted with the outer circumferential surface of the air supply pipe. The double-structural well(30) comprises an unsaturated zone injection well(32) which has a certain length, and on a lower outer circumferential surface of which a plurality of screens are formed to inject air into unsaturated zone; an aquifer injection wells(42) which is extended from a lower part of the unsaturated zone injection well in such a manner that the aquifer injection well is blocked from the unsaturated zone injection well, and on a lower outer circumferential surface of which a plurality of screens are formed to inject air into aquifer; and an air supply pipe(40) installed in the unsaturated zone injection well and connected with the aquifer injection well to supply air into the aquifer injection well from the outside.

    • A method for preparing fatty acid alkyl ester(biodiesel) by esterifying a vegetable oil in the presence of a supercritical lower alcohol and a supercritical solvent with a boiling point similar to that of the lower alcohol is provided. A method for preparing fatty acid alkyl ester(biodiesel) comprises the steps of: (a) esterifying a vegetable oil in the presence of a supercritical lower alcohol and a supercritical solvent with a boiling point similar to that of the lower alcohol; (b) recovering fatty acid alkyl ester(biodiesel) from the esterified reaction solution. The supercritical solvent with a boiling point similar to that of the lower alcohol is selected from the group consisting of CFC-based solvents, HCFC-based solvents and HFC-based solvents. The lower alcohol is methanol. The vegetable oil is selected from the group consisting of palm oil, soybean oil, rape-seed oil, canola oil, safflower oil, corn oil, colza oil, linseed oil, sunflower oil, poppy oil, walnut oil, peanut oil, cottonseed oil, rice bran oil, camellia seed oil, castor oil, and olive oil. The step(a) is performed in a reactor with an agitation means. The step(a) is performed in a fluidized-bed reactor. The step(a) is performed by esterifying the vegetable oil and the lower alcohol at a mole ratio of 1:5 to 1:20. The method further comprises the step of recovering the lower alcohol and solvent to recirculate the recovered lower alcohol and solvent to the esterification process after performing the step(b).
