摘要： A PON(Passive Optical Network) system for WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) is provided to prepare transmitters as all of the same color-free elements with no need to equip DFB-LDs(Distributed Feedback-Laser Diodes) corresponding to different wavelength bands, thereby reducing the amount of preliminary numbers for subscriber equipment. An OLT(Optical Line Termination)(10) comprises as follows. The first CWDM(Coarse WDM) unit(11) multiplexes the first optical signal groups having different wavelength bands. The first BWDM(Band WDM) unit(13) receives the first optical signal groups to send the groups to an RN(Remote Node)(30). The first DWDM(Dense WDM) unit(15) receives the multiplexed first optical signal groups delivered from the RN through a circulator(19), demultiplexes the groups, and sends the demultiplexed groups to plural receivers. A seed light source(17) transmits light to the RN through the first BWDM unit to be used as a light source of ONUs(Optical Network Units)(ONU1~ONUn).
