摘要： An apparatus for processing cash on hand and a method therefor are provided to remove the necessity for a corresponding staff to directly perform the present money management. An input processing unit(190) receives present cash withdraw request information and present cash deposit request information. An authentication processing unit(185) processes the staff authentication according to staff authentication information. In case the operation mode is a present cash withdrawing mode, a present cash withdrawing unit(135) pays the paper money corresponding to the present cash withdraw request information. If the operation mode is a present cash depositing mode, a present cash depositing unit(125) checks the note kind/note number of the paper money which the staff inputs.
