    • PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a member of a vehicle and a side member using the same are provided to improve collision energy absorbing properties without additional reinforcing materials. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a member of a vehicle is as follows. A blank(21,23) for a member(13) is prepared using a boron steel plate. The member is molded by pressing the blank with a higher temperature than a transformation point. The molded member is cooled in order to have a high-strength first metal tissue. The member with the first metal tissue is heated using a heating source to have a transformation point temperature. The heated member is cooled to have a low-strength second metal tissue. The second metal organization of the relative low-strength is had partly.
