    • PURPOSE: A display method using photonic crystal characteristics and a device thereof are provided to independently control particles with electric charges, thereby realizing a more precise and independent display. CONSTITUTION: If electric fields are applied to cluster particles(110), colloid particles generate predetermined-directional electric power by electric charges of each colloid particle. The intervals of the colloid particles get narrower by the electric power. Repulsion is applied between the colloid particles with the same electric charges. The intervals of the colloid particles are determined according to relative strength of the repulsion and the electric power due to the electric fields.
