    • PURPOSE: A waste treating method is provided, which treats waste containing inorganic substances a main constituent and toxic organic matter without generation of a large amount of flue gas or nitrogen oxides (NOx) at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: The waste treating method comprises the processes of volatilizing toxic organic matter from waste containing toxic organic matter having inorganic substances as a main constituent, and generating a gas containing volatilized toxic organic matter; and non-toxic treating the volatilized toxic organic matter contained in the gas, wherein the method further comprises the process of forcibly separating the gas containing toxic organic matter volatilized from the waste between the process of generating a gas containing toxic organic matter and the process of non-toxic treating the gas, wherein the gas is non-toxic treated in the process of non-toxic treating the gas using one or more methods selected from the group consisting of combustion, a moving bed or fluidized bed catalytic combustion, a moving bed or fluidized bed catalytic decomposition, decomposition by contacting with fused material, scrubbing and cooling and condensing, and wherein the process of volatilizing toxic organic matter from waste further comprises the process of forming construction of the waste in a fluidized bed by vibrating waste, and heating the waste in the formation of the fluidized bed.
