CONSTITUTION: A system having optic fiber purity sensors comprises a generator(12) and one or more optic fiber purity sensors(34). The generator comprises a stator, a rotor, and a gas coolant path(18). The one or more optic fiber purity sensors detect a gas purity of a flow of gas coolant(52). The one or more optic fiber purity sensors comprise a fiber core, a lattice structure in which a refractive index is modulated, a fiber cladding, and a multi-layers sensing film. The lattice structure is arranged around the fiber core. The fiber cladding is arranged around the lattice structure. The multi-layers sensing film comprises a modulated structure of multi-layers of high refractive index and low refractive index.

摘要： PURPOSE: A lubricant drain system of a hydrogen-cooling generator is provided to maintain high hydrogen level in lubricant by allowing the lubricant drawn into a stand pipe to contact hydrogen gas in a detraining tank. CONSTITUTION: A lubricant drain system of a hydrogen-cooling generator comprises a hydrogen detraining tank(34) having a hollow inner part(42). A sensor(63) is installed in the hydrogen detraining tank to detect a boundary section(47) between lubricant and hydrogen gas in the hollow inner part. A drain line(50) is communicated with the hydrogen detraining tank to let fluid flow. The drain line comprises first and second end portions(52,53), wherein the first end portion is exposed on the hollow inner part. A valve(58) is installed in the drain line. A controller(70) is connected to the sensor and the valve to selectively open the valve. When the boundary section is located on the first end portion of the drain line, a fixed amount of lubricant is drawn out from the hollow inner part.

The sealing device is comprised of a non-contact seal(54) and a contact seal(56). The contact seal is positioned under the non-contact seal and is surrounded with the non-contact seal. The contact seal surrounds the aluminum body and a nonmetal bristle. The aluminum body surrounds the nonmetal bristle partially. The nonmetal bristles are contacted with the rotor and are protruded from the aluminum body. The remodeling method improves the power efficiency of the hydrogen-cooling generator by including the sealing device in the hydrogen-cooling generator.

An expectation system(130) eliminates a gas mixture(132) from the end part housing. A sensor(140) decides the purity of the cooling gas in the inside the casing. 摘要： PURPOSE: A seal leakage and seal oil contamination detection system of a generator is provided to maintain purity level of cooling gas and secure efficient operation of a generator. CONSTITUTION: A seal leakage and seal oil contamination detector system of a generator comprises a casing(102), an end housing(120), a purity sensor(140), and a gasket leakage detector(170). The casing surrounds at least a part of a rotor(104) and a stator(106) and seals a large quantity of cooling gas(103) around the rotor and the stator. The end housing is located on each end of the casing and surrounds a shaft seal ring(122). The purity sensor transfers the flow of cooling gas to the casing in order to maintain constant pressure inside the casing and determines the purity of cooling gas in at least one of a cooling gas source(108), the end housing, and the casing. The gasket leakage detector generates an alarm which indicates a leakage in at least one of gaskets by responding to the increase of flow rate and purity of cooling gas in the end housing or/and the casing compared to a flow rate threshold and a purity threshold.
