    • An ophthalmoscope is provided to enable a user to observe both an upright image and an inverted image by displaying the inverted image at an upper portion and the upright image at a lower portion. An ophthalmoscope for generating upright and inverted images includes an optical source to emit the light to eyes of users(1). A focusing lens is arranged in front of the eyes of users. The image applied on the focusing lens(2) propagates through center mirrors and left/right mirrors. Planar mirrors(7,7') are arranged behind the ophthalmoscope and apply the image from the focusing lens to a rear portion of the ophthalmoscope. Schmidt prisms(10,10') totally reflect the images from the planar mirrors. The images from the Schmidt prisms are applied to the eyes of users through a right planar mirror(8) and a beam splitter.

    • PURPOSE: An indirect ophthalmoscope is provided to show the same as a real image to a testee by arranging an AMICI ROOF prism and a penta-prism on a position of a reflector and locating the reflector under the AMICI ROOF prism and the penta-prism. CONSTITUTION: An indirect ophthalmoscope includes a deflection mirror, a light source, a convex lens, and two couples of mirrors. The light of the light source(12) is irradiated to eyeballs by the deflection mirror(16). The light reflected by the deflection mirror is transmitted into a testee's eyes through the convex lens(18) and the mirrors(26,28). A direct retinal image is shown by using a couple of AMICI ROOF prisms and a penta-prism instead of the mirrors. The indirect ophthalmoscope further includes a sliding unit. The sliding unit is used for shifting a prism unit.

    • PURPOSE: A three-dimensional real time imaging apparatus for a retina is provided to display an image of a retina which is obtained through a laser generator into a three-dimensional real time image. CONSTITUTION: A laser generator(1) emits a laser beam. An optical unit enables an incident angle of the laser beam which is emitted on a retina from the laser generator and an emitting angle of a laser imaginary line reflected from the retina to be coincided with each other in vertical and horizontal direction. A three-dimensional imaging unit converts an image of the retina extracted from the optical unit into a real time three-dimensional image. The optical unit includes a polyhedral mirror motor(24), a galvanoscope(20) and a sensor array(31). The polyhedral mirror motor(24) upwardly and downwardly scans the laser bean emitted from the laser generator by rotation. The galvanoscope(20) emits a parallel beam formed by rightward and leftward scanning the laser beam applied from the polyhedral mirror motor to the retina.
