摘要： PURPOSE: A sawdust drying method using steam and a method for producing pellets for floor mats of a cattle shed using the same are provided to prevent FMD(Foot-and-Mouth Disease) and virus by sterilizing sawdust with a screw having a hot wire or a heat transfer plate. CONSTITUTION: A sawdust drying method using steam is as follows. Sawdust is wet-dried by spraying steam at 70°C-240°C. While the steam is sprayed for 1-30 seconds under a condition where the internal pressure of a chamber is 1-10Mpa at 70°C-240°C, powdered sawdust is transferred to a feed screw(6) and is compressed and bulked. The density of sawdust products is 0.7-1.2g/cm^3 and the moisture content thereof is 6-23%.
