    • The present invention relates to a catalyst for producing synthetic natural gas (SNG) in which methanation reaction and fischer-tropsch synthesis are progressed at the same time, and a manufacturing method thereof and, more specifically, to a catalyst for producing a high calorific methane gas comprising: 30-90 parts by weight of a metal support; and a catalyst activating ingredients including 10-70 parts by weight of nickel and 1-10 parts by weight of one metal element selected from Fe, Co, Zr, Ce and Ga. The manufacturing method for the catalyst comprises: a catalyst active ingredient producing step; and an impregnating step of impregnating the catalyst activating ingredients into the metal support. The present invention increases the yield of carbon (C) by performing the process in conditions in which the H_2/CO ratio of syngas supplied to methanation reaction is lower than 3.0 since methanation reaction and fischer-tropsh synthesis occur at the same time by using the catalyst in a manufacturing method for synthetic natural gas (SNG), exhibits excellent reproducibility by allowing high calorific synthetic natural gas to be produced and provides the catalyst for synthesizing high calorific methane through a simple manufacturing process.

    • The present invention provides an apparatus for producing a synthetic natural gas including a primary SNG synthesis device that has a methane synthesis reaction catalyst, is supplied with a synthesis gas containing H2, CO, and CO2, and steam, and discharges a methane-containing gas produced by a methane synthesis reaction; and a secondary SNG synthesis device that is supplied with the methane-containing gas, and discharges a synthetic natural gas produced by a methane synthesis reaction, the synthesis gas having a H2/CO concentration ratio of 0.6 to 0.95. Also provided is a method for producing a synthetic natural gas including a primary SNG synthesis step in which a synthesis gas containing H-2, CO, and CO2 is supplied with steam, water gas conversion and a methane synthesis reaction are performed at the same time, and a methane-containing gas is discharged; and a secondary SNG synthesis step in which the methane-containing gas is supplied, and a synthetic natural gas produced by a methane synthesis reaction is discharged, the synthesis gas supplied in the primary SNG synthesis step having a H2/CO concentration ratio of 0.6 to 0.95. When the apparatus and the method for producing a synthetic natural gas of the present invention are used, the synthesis gas with a low hydrogen-carbon monoxide concentration ratio is supplied in a primary methane synthesis step and water gas conversion and the methane synthesis reaction are performed at the same time, and thus no additional water gas conversion step has to be performed. In addition, the supply of the steam in the primary methane synthesis step allows a recirculation step for reaction temperature control to be omitted, and thus synthetic natural gas production costs can be saved.
