    • PURPOSE: Provided is a method for preparing ferrous sulfate and gypsum simultaneously by a single process, which uses industrial wastes, i.e., desulfurized dust as a recycled resource. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing ferrous sulfate and gypsum using desulfurized dust comprises the steps of: reacting desulfurized dust with an aqueous sulfuric acid solution in the ratio of 1.3-1.7 moles of sulfuric acid per gram of desulfurized dust in order to precipitate gypsum and to form an aqueous ferrous sulfate solution; and separating the precipitated gypsum from the aqueous ferrous sulfate solution. Particularly, the desulfurized dust comprises 18-22 wt% of iron and 34-42 wt% of CaO.

      상기 용융 배재슬래그의 건식처리 장치는, 용융 배재슬래그와 용융잔선을 분리시키어 배출노즐을 통하여 배출시키는 용기와, 상기 슬래그 배출노즐의 직하부에 냉각되면서 회전 구동되고, 이로 부터 낙하된 용융 배재슬래그를 1차 냉각시키는 냉각회전체 및, 상기 냉각회전체가 수용되면서 턴디쉬 하부에 벽체가 냉각되도록 배치되어 냉각회전체에 접촉후 낙하하는 입상의 배재슬래그를 2차 냉각시키는 냉각용기를 포함하여 구성되어 있고, 이를 통하여 용융배재슬래그를 2차의 냉각을 통하여 건식으로 처리하는 방법이 제공된다..
      이와 같은 본 발명에 의하면, 배재슬래그 처리시 금속.철성분(Metal.Fe)의 함량을 낮추어 슬래그 활용을 용이하게 하면서, 특히 용융 배재슬래그의 처리구조가 건식형태로 그 처리비용을 낮추고, 용융 배재슬래그의 처리작업의 조업환경도 개선시키는 한편, 용융 배재슬래그를 용융상태에서 잔선을 분리하고 건식 냉각처리하여 입상화함으로서, 후 처리작업도 용이하게 하는 보다 개선된 효과를 얻는다.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a manufacturing method of monolayer and double-layer artificial marble with high density, high strength and beautiful exterior by using steelmaking slag. CONSTITUTION: The monolayer artificial marble is manufactured by mixing 65-70wt.% of mixed steelmaking slag containing 75-85wt.% of steelmaking slag with a 1.18-3.35mm size and 15-25wt.% of steelmaking slag less than 1.18mm in size, with 30-35wt.% of thermosetting resin such as polyester, and hot pressing the mixture at 200deg.C or less. The double-layer artificial marble is manufactured by the following steps of: mixing 65-70wt.% of mixed steelmaking slag with 30-35wt.% of thermosetting resin; pouring the mixture into a mold and flattening; putting a mixture of 60-80wt.% of chips(1-10mm size) and 20-40wt.% of thermosetting resin as a decorative layer over the marble materials which are not fully hardened; hot pressing. The chips are obtained by mixing ground colored stone, CaCO3, pigment and thermosetting resin, hardening, and grinding the mixture to a proper size.

    • PURPOSE: Construction material composition which can enhance workability by removing fibrous needles on the surface of granulated blast furnace slag sand, and further improve compression strength of the molded structure densely is provided for being used as an aggregates. CONSTITUTION: A molding material using granulated blast furnace slag sand is a mixture of granulated blast furnace slag sand having 1.1kg per liter or more of weight per unit volume, and 100% of -2.5mm grading integration passed parts and cement in a ratio of 1: 4-10. By adjusting the grading appropriately, or conducting surface modification, it is possible to improve the contact strength between the aggregate and the cement phase, as well as facilitate to manage slag, thereby replacing natural sand to the slag composition for construction and building aggregate.

    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing liquid milk of lime by using slags is provided which economically produces the liquid milk of lime, in which powdered calcium hydroxide is not suspended, by using the waste slags discharged from an iron mill so the generation amount of the sludge could be reduced. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: (i) wet-pulverizing slags into particles having a size of not more than 0.25 millimeter; and (ii) separating supernatant liquid where Ca(OH)2 and a very small amount of Mg(OH)2 are dissolved, wherein the slag contains CaO, SiO2, iron oxide as main components and MgO as a subsidiary component and is selected from revolving furnace slag, electric furnace oxidizing machine slag and dephosphorized slag.
