摘要： PURPOSE: An expression vector capable of expressing foreign proteins in animal cells is provided, therefore the foreign proteins can be effectively expressed in animal cells with maintaining the structure and function of foreign protein. CONSTITUTION: The expression vector capable of expressing foreign proteins in animal cells comprises MAR(Nuclear matrix attachment region) element of a beta-globin gene or reverse oriented MAR element of a beta-globin gene in its 5'-terminal, in which the expression vector is pMS (KCCM 10203) having the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1. The expression vector capable of expressing foreign proteins in animal cells comprises a terminal sequence combined with poly-A(polyadenylation) of SV40 virus having the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3 and a terminal sequence of gastrin gene, in which the expression vector is pSG having the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 7.

Specifically, the present invention relates to an expression vector, pMS vector, pSG vector and pMSG vector, including the human beta-globin 5' MAR complementary sequence or/and the transcription termination site of the gastrin gene. An expression system using an expression vector of the present invention can successfully produce recombinant proteins in various animals cells and recombinant protein having a unique structure and function.
