摘要： PURPOSE: A method of applying chemical anchoring adhesive is provided to apply an anchoring adhesive into a borehole yielding high strength bond and substantially homogeneous cured composition. CONSTITUTION: A method includes the steps of: providing a slug(10) of chemical anchoring adhesive including a first part(12) and a second part(14) joined at an interface(17) extending in longitudinal direction of the slug; adding resin in the first part and giving a first color; adding curing agent in the second part and giving a second color different from the first color; inserting the slug into a borehole; providing an anchor pin; and inserting the anchor pin into the borehole using a driving tool rotating the anchor pin to form a composition having a third color different from the first color and the second color by mixing the first part and the second part with rotation of the anchor pin.

摘要： PURPOSE: A rope of chemical anchoring adhesive consisting of a first part including a resin and a second part including a curing agent and useful in heavy construction applications is provided. This adhesive exhibits better holding force than prior art of putty sticks, and the holding force similar to conventional fluid/capsule adhesives. CONSTITUTION: This chemical anchoring adhesive comprises about 20 to 80% by weight of a first part(12) containing resin and about 20 to 80% by weight of a second part(14) containing a curing agent, wherein the first and the second part are connected in parallel along an interface(17) extending the length of a rope(20) and have a viscosity of about 5 to 50 million centipoise, and the rope has a ratio of length to diameter of about 4. The rope can be cut into slugs at the construction site which are sized according to the depth of a borehole, into which the anchor pin is driven.
