    • PURPOSE: A lead supporting device of a drilling machine is provided to be capable of fixing the angle of a lead at any position and prevent the damage of a lead fixing device from adjusting the angle of the lead by malfunction or worker's mistake. CONSTITUTION: A lead supporting device of a drilling machine includes the body(11) of a drilling machine(10), a lead(20), a driving shaft(31), a head part(30), a lead position fixing device(40). The lead is supported by the body of the drilling machine and rotated by a main cylinder(21) with a prescribed angle. The driving shaft is slidably installed to the lead. A rod(12) for drilling is connected to the driving shaft. The head part has a hydraulic motor to drive the driving shaft. The lead position fixing device is installed to the body and lead. The lead position fixing device fixes the rotating position of the lead.

CONSTITUTION: A swivel apparatus for a drilling machine comprises a main body, a shank member(140), a rotator unit(130), a swivel unit(160), and a lubricant supply unit(180). The main body is installed, including a water pipe(120) which is extended in the vertical direction and allows the flow of working water. The shank member surrounds the water pipe and has a hollow for allowing the flow of working water. The rotator unit is installed in the lower part of the main body and rotates the shank member. The swivel unit is installed between the shank member and the water pipe in order to allow the shank member to rotate around the water pipe. The lubricant supply unit continuously supplies lubricant to the swivel unit.

    • PURPOSE: An excavator is provided to save working time and to facilitate a connection work of a new rod and a boring work of the rod because the rod coupled in a head part is guided by a guide unit on a same axis of a head part without shaking. CONSTITUTION: An excavator(10) comprises a main body(20), a leader, a head part(40), a rod(50), and a guide part. The leader is supported by the main body. The head part is moved along a longitudinal direction of the main body. The rod is coupled to the head part and bores a target boring region while being moved by the head part. The guide part is moved by the head part along a longitudinal direction of the leader and comprises multiple gripping arms. The multiple gripping arms grip the outer circumference of the rod to support the rod so that a center line of the rod and the head part can be located on a same axis.

    • A boring method using a horizontal boring apparatus having a direction control function includes: a first boring step of performing a boring work in a horizontal direction using a rod coupled to a driving shaft of a head part moving along a leader installed in a body of a boring machine and a core drill installed on the rod; a sampling step of collecting sample cores in a region where a sample core collection work is required when performing a boring work in the first boring step; a grouting step of performing a grouting work by injecting mortar into a boring region requiring a direction change after the sampling core collection work has been finished together with the boring work in the first boring step; a boring direction changing step of performing the boring work while changing a boring direction at a predetermined angle from the boring direction in the first boring step by mounting a mud motor, which changes a forwarding direction of the boring work when boring an end portion of the rod coupled to the head part; and a second boring step of performing a boring work by separating the mud motor from the end portion of the rod and mounting a core drill to the end portion of the rod for the boring work after the boring direction changing step has been finished.
