摘要： PURPOSE: A method for selecting a bell type of telephone is to provide a various bell by outputting a stored bell in sequence whenever the telephone rings. CONSTITUTION: A method for selecting a bell type of telephone comprises the steps of: sensing whether a ring signal is inputted from a caller through a line; reading a count value of timer and identifying a current time when a ring signal is inputted; reading and outputting the bell corresponding to the current time from a memory when the current time is identified; and hearing the output bell by a called party and putting a call through in wanting a call demand. A transmitting/receiving unit provides a ring signal sensing unit with an initial received signal. The ring signal sensing unit receives a signal provided from the transmitting/receiving unit and senses whether or not it is a ring signal. A controlling unit determines whether or not a mode for outputting a general bell is set. A bell selecting unit selects a bell stored in a bell storing unit, according to an information of the mode provided from the controlling unit.
