    • The present invention relates to bio-colony using plant biomass and a method for manufacturing the same, which can manufacture bio-colony, which promotes the growth of microorganisms and is optimized as an energy source, using plant biomass, to improve, by microbes, the decomposition rate and treatment efficiency of organic matters such as food waste, life or industrial waste water or wastes, thereby preventing or easing environmental pollution. To this end, the bio-colony using plant biomass and the method for manufacturing the same according to the present invention are characterized in that the bio-colony is manufactured by using biomass as raw materials, is used as an energy source of microbes, and has a microporous structure. In addition, the bio-colony using plant biomass and the method for manufacturing the same according to the present invention comprises the steps of: classifying, cleaning, drying, and crushing a biomass material (S1); hydrolyzing the material obtained in the step (S1) (S2); filtering and concentrating a solution obtained in the step (S2) (S3); sterilizing a high-concentration solution obtained in the step (S3) at high temperatures and concentrating it (S4); and aging and drying the final concentrate obtained in the step (S4) (S5).
