摘要： The present invention relates to an elevator door stopping apparatus capable of preventing an elevator door from being closed by itself and maintaining a stopped state when electric power supplied to an elevator door driving unit is interrupted while the elevator door driving apparatus performs an opening or closing operation or while an elevator door is fully opened. An elevator door stopping apparatus according to the present invention is formed such that a first magnet for generating a magnetic force in the radial direction which is perpendicular to a shaft rotated by being engaged with an elevator door when the elevator door is opened and closed and a second magnet having a polarity which is opposite to that of the first magnet is fixed on a fixed surface radially spaced as a predetermined distance from the first magnet such that a magnetic force can be generated between the first magnet and the second magnet in the radial direction which is perpendicular to the shaft.
