    • 개시된통신시스템의전송망확장장치는실시간대용량압축률및 전송률을갖는모뎀과전송망정합기능을갖는모듈을이용하여기지국에는 RF 모듈과상술한장치만으로기지국의역할을하고기존의디지털처리모듈은원격지에서교환기의부분모듈과같이사용할 수있도록하는데관한것이다. 본발명의장치는전송망을통해압축된디지탈데이터형태의데이터를수신받아처리하여 RF 신호로복원하고, 복원된 RF 신호를업컨버팅및 증폭시켜안테나를통해방사하며, 단말기에서송신되는 RF 신호를수신하여증폭및 다운컨버팅한후 압축된디지탈데이터형태의데이터로변환시켜전송망을통해교환국으로송신하는기지국과, 교환장치에서처리되는음성신호를 RF 신호로변환하고, 변환된 RF 신호를압축된디지탈데이터형태의데이터로변환한후 전송망을통해기지국으로전송하며, 기지국에서송신되는압축된디지탈데이터형태의데이터를 RF 신호로변환시켜교환장치로출력하는교환국으로구성된다. 따라서, 본발명은기지국의 RF 처리파트와교환국의디지털처리파트를전송망을통해연결하여신호를송수신할수 있도록하는신호송, 수신파트를콤팩트하게구현할경우기지국을현재의안테나뒤에바로연결하거나, 또는안테나와일체형의모듈로형성가능하며, 여기에전송망과전원을연결시키면하나의기지국시스템이구현된다는효과를제공하는데있다.

    • PURPOSE: A transmission network extending apparatus of a communication system is provided to make a local station compact by using a module having a transmission network interfacing function and allow terminals to transmit data to each other by connecting every type of transmission network to a base station. CONSTITUTION: An RF processor(120) amplifies and down-converts a signal received by an antenna(110) to generate an RF signal, and up-converts and amplifies the RF signal to radiate it through the antenna(110). The first signal transmitting/receiving unit(130) converts the RF signal into compressed digital data and transmits it to a host station(200), receives the digital data, restores it to the RF signal and transmits it to the RF processor(120). The second signal transmitting/receiving unit(210) receives the compressed digital data, restores it to the RF signal, converts the RF signal into compressed digital data, and transmits it to a local station(100). A digital processor(220) processes the restored RF signal to packet type data, transmits it to an exchange(230), converts the packet type data into an RF signal, and transmits it to the second signal transmitting/receiving unit(210).
