    • PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of nano-crystal sized cerium oxides using cerium carbonate hydroxide is provided to drastically shorten maturing time. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of nano-crystal sized cerium oxides comprises the following steps: manufacturing a cerium salt solution; manufacturing each a hydroxide solution and a carbonate solution and manufacturing a precipitate solution by mixing the two solutions; manufacturing a mixed solution by mixing the cerium salt solution with precipitate solution; manufacturing cerium carbonate by maturing the mixed solution; washing and drying the hydroxide cerium carbonate; and sintering the hydroxide cerium carbonate. The weight of cerous salt, carbonate and hydroxide are 0.05-20M of hydroxide and 0.05-20M of carbonate per 1M of the cerous salt. In the fourth step, the mixture is matured at 0-80 deg. Celsius for 1-8 hours. In the fifth step, the hydroxide carium carbonate is dried at 20-35 deg. Celsius for 6-48 hours, and is dried at 40-100 deg. Celsius for 30 minutes-3 hours.
