    • PURPOSE: A latch device made of sheet metal materials and a refrigerator comprising the same are provided to prevent a latch device from being damaged and unfixed by forming a stopper and a latch member with sheet metal materials. CONSTITUTION: A latch device made of sheet metal materials comprises a latch member(160), a stopper(120), a mounting panel, and a hook insertion unit(170). The latch member rotates on a latch hinge shaft and is engaged with a locking hook. The stopper rotates on a stopper hinge shaft and is selectively engaged with the latch member. The mounting panel is manufactured into an integral type, is made of sheet metal materials, and is installed in a latch device through a joining unit. The mounting panel is integrally cut at the lateral side towards the inside for forming the hook insertion unit. The hook insertion unit is inserted with the locking hook.

    • A water supply line of a refrigerator and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent a water supply line from being folded, deformed, or pressed when a door is formed by protecting the water supply line with a cover. A water supply line of a refrigerator comprises a water tank, at least one valve, a water line(7), and a cover(30). The water tank is installed in a door of the refrigerator. The valve supplies water in the water tank to at least one of a dispenser and an ice machine. The water line connects the water tank with at least one valve and is drawn from a box(10) after forming the door. The cover surrounds the water line and prevents deformation of the water line when the door is formed. The cover is made of Styrofoam such that after the door is formed, the cover is broken at one part to draw the water line.

    • A rail assembly for taking out and putting in a basket is provided to reduce height of a center rod supporting a basket as much as extended length of a rack connecting part to enlarge size of the basket, thereby improving containing capacity of the basket. Rail housings(30) are formed at both sides of a storage space of a refrigerator. A rail part(40) is combined with a rail securing side(30') formed at one side of the rail housing, guiding coming and going of a basket. A rack(39) is formed at the rail housing, placed at a position lower than the rail securing side, and geared with a pinion(51) connected with a center rod(53) installed at a lower position of the basket to prevent movement of the center rod. The rail housing includes a rack connecting part(37) extended from a rail support end downward, having the rack at a front end.
