    • PURPOSE: An incoming current limiting circuit is provided to decrease the diode for the incoming current limiting and the number of resistances, thereby improving the power efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A conversion switch converts the power supply to a standby mode in an off operation. A standby power supply unit (17) produces the standby voltage from the AC power source. A diode for the incoming current limiting (11) is serially connected to the standby power supply unit in the off operation. An incoming current limiting resistance (13) is serially connected to the diode for the incoming current limiting. A common capacitor applies the voltage in the standby mode.

The inrush current protection function is executed by an inrush current protection block(214) installed between a reference voltage(Vb) and one terminal of a capacitor(C) accomplishing an output terminal.
