    • A liquid crystal display device and a method for driving the same are provided to reduce power consumption by supplying black data to data lines crossing gate lines arranged in a non-display region during a blank period. A liquid crystal display device includes a timing controller(108), a black data supply unit, a data driver(106), and a liquid crystal(102). The timing controller generates a predetermined control signal. The black data supply unit is installed inside the timing controller in order to supply black data during a blank period by using a vertical synchronous signal and a data enable signal. The data driver supplies an analog voltage corresponding to the black data. The liquid crystal panel displays images according to the analog voltage.

    • An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) set is provided to reduce the thickness of the LCD set by locating a PCB(Printed Circuit Board), a system board and a driving circuit in a space of a menu selector and a speaker. An LCD set includes a display part, a menu selector and a speaker placed under the display part. The LCD set further includes an LCD panel(30) formed corresponding to the display part, a back light unit formed on the backside of the LCD panel, a support main(36) that supports the LCD panel and the back light unit and is extended from the menu selector and the speaker. The LCD also has a PCB(31) formed on the support main, a system board and an inverter formed on the backside of the support main.

    • A liquid crystal display device is provided to improve a radiation efficiency and lower an internal temperature of LCD, to enhance a screen display quality by forming a pattern of grid shape in the bottom cover and to prevent light leakage by bending of liquid crystal panel. A liquid crystal display device includes a light guide panel(111), lamp(113), lamp housing(115), a plurality of optical sheets(117), back light assembly, bottom cover(121) and liquid crystal panel. The light guide panel changes a path of light and emits light to a liquid crystal panel. The lamp is adapted in the left and right sides of the light guide panel to generate light. The lamp housing protects the lamp and reflects light towards the light guide panel. The pluralities of optical sheets are adapted on the light guide panel and diffuse light. The back light assembly has a reflective plate(119) and is adapted under the light guide panel. The bottom cover is adapted under the back light assembly and fixes the back light assembly and has a pattern of grid structure formed in a back face thereof. The liquid crystal panel is formed of a liquid crystal panel.
