    • PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a method for driving the same are provided to transmit image data bits of neighboring pixel regions and to reduce bit conversion generated in signal transmission. CONSTITUTION: A timing control unit(140) receives multiple N bit image signals and multiple control signals from a system through a first interface. The timing control unit delivers the N bit image signals and the control signals through the second interface to at least one driver IC. A first and a second interface select neighboring M pixel regions. The first and the second interface bind N bit image signals delivered to the M pixel regions. The first and the second interface successively transmit the N bit image signals.

    • PURPOSE: A method for recovering a pixel clock based on an iDP(International Display Port) and a display device using the same are provided to efficiently optimize a parameter for recovering the pixel clock by calculating parameters of HB, VB, and Mvid. CONSTITUTION: An iDP transmitting circuit(10) detects an HPD signal received through an HPD transmission line. An iDP receiving circuit(20) recovers a pixel clock by multiplying a main link symbol clock frequency of data received from the iDP transmitting circuit with a Mvid/48 ratio. N lanes are connected between the iDP transmitting circuit and the iDP receiving circuit. An SoC(System on Chip) generates data and outputs data through the iDP transmission circuit. A timing controller samples the data received from the iDP receiving circuit to a pixel clock.
