    • PURPOSE: A method and system for extracting/combining/transmitting audio data by using a microphone of a mobile terminal are provided to allow a user to combine video data and a user's voice, and transmit the corresponding multimedia data to a receiver. CONSTITUTION: When a key input for photographing and recording is inputted from a key input unit(S310), a CPU(Central Processing Unit) transmits a record function for setting a sound media as a recording audio in order to record audio data to an EVRC(Enhanced Variable Rate Coding) vocoder(S320). When a key input for an audio volume is inputted from the key input unit(S330), the CPU transfers a volume setting function for setting a volume of EVRC audio data to be extracted and a volume set value designated by the key input unit to the EVRC vocoder(S340). When the EVRC audio data is received from the EVRC vocoder(S350), the CPU stores the EVRC audio data in a data storing unit(S360).

    • PURPOSE: A method for providing a multimedia advertising service in a mobile communication network and a system and method for controlling the multimedia contents of a mobile terminal are provided to offer desired multimedia contents for many and specific/unspecified terminals so that the multimedia contents can be exposed actively through associated terminals. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling the multimedia contents of a mobile terminal for a multimedia advertising service consists of a WAP browser(610), a VM(Virtual Machine)(620), a storage part(630), an MMI(Man Machine Interface)(640), a multimedia contents control unit(650), and a contents execution module(660). The WAP browser(610) accesses a relevant server, based on the access information received by a WAP push method, and downloads advertising multimedia contents with exposure condition information for the contents. The storage part(630) to separately store the downloaded multimedia contents and exposure condition information comprises an advertising media buffer(631), an advertising media information buffer(632), a scheduling buffer(633), and a log information buffer(634). The MMI(640) monitors various events, generated due to the operations of an associated mobile terminal, in real time and controls various functions. The multimedia contents control unit(650) establishes the exposure schedule of the multimedia contents related to the presently generated event, based on a monitored result and the previously stored exposure condition information. The contents execution module(660) consists of a 3D player(661), an MPEG player(662), a SIS(Simple Image Service) player(663), and a TCM-2 player(664).

    • PURPOSE: A virtual character calling method using a callback SMS is provided to maintain a character call state on a standby screen when a text message is transceived, and to automatically convert into a network always-on state if a user wants to send a predetermined character, thereby realizing a virtual network always-on system. CONSTITUTION: A caller writes a text message, and selects a predetermined key(S201). A receiver's terminal receives calling information, and performs a character call on an intelligent SMS platform(S203). An SMS control code is transmitted to the SMS platform, and is sent to an SMS service logic for the character call(S205). The SMS service logic receives TID information to decide whether a current short message mode is a character call mode(S207,S209). If not, the logic writes a predetermined text message(S217), and carries out another PDSN connection(S219). The receiver sends the text message to the caller's terminal(S221).
