    • A thermoplastic polyester resin and a molded product are provided to ensure excellent strength and easy decoration, and excellent flexural strength when manufactured in the form of a panel. A thermoplastic polyester resin comprises (i) a diacid component including a terephthalic acid component of at least 80 mole %; and (ii) a diol component including neopentyl glycol of 10-70 mole % and ethylene glycol of 20-90 mole %. The polyester resin has intrinsic viscosity of 0.45-1.35 dl/g. Based on the whole diol component, the content of neopentyl glycol is 20-40 mole % and the content of ethylene glycol is 60-80 mole %.

    • A method for producing a multilayer container having coating effect is provided to manufacture a multilayer container by a molding process without rubber coating in a post-process. A method for producing a multilayer container having coating effect comprises the steps of manufacturing a parison through extrusion or injection molding and producing a container blow molding the parison. The parison is a multilayer parison having at least one layer including resin containing at least one selected from the group consisting of pearl pigment, metallic flake, glass bead, pine woodfibres, matting agent, and bamboo chip. The resin constituting adjacent layers in the multilayer parison includes one selected from the group consisting of glycol modified polyethylene terephthalate, polycarbonate, polyethylene terephthalate, glycol modified polycyclohexylene dimethylene terephthalate, acid modified polycyclohexylene dimethylene terephthalate, and polyester-based thermoplastic polyurethane.

    • Provided are a polyester copolymer resin composition which is excellent in mechanical strength and hardness and is used to prepare a polyester copolymer resin-based semitransparent sheet, and a molded product prepared by injection-molding or extrusion-molding the composition. The polyester copolymer resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a polyester copolymer resin having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.60-1.0 dl/g; and 0.001-20 parts by weight of an epoxy-based additive. Preferably the polyester copolymer resin is prepared by the esterification and polycondensation of a dicarboxylic acid component containing terephthalic acid and a diol component comprising 0.01-99.9 mol% of 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol and 0.01-99.9 mol% of ethylene glycol. Preferably the epoxy-based additive is selected from a diol-based compound, a tertiary amine-based compound, an acrylate, a methacrylate and their mixture.
