    • The present invention relates to a wavelength control method used for wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) or in a WDM - passive optical network (PON) and a multi-channel light source for the same. The multi-channel light source includes: at least two laser diodes; a wavelength multiplexing unit which performs wavelength multiplexing of optical signals outputted from the laser diodes; an optical power division unit which divides the output optical power of the wavelength multiplexing unit using a predefined ratio; a light receiving element which is connected to one output port of the optical power division unit, receives the optical signals having output frequencies partially divided by the optical power division unit, and generates an electric signal; and a control unit which receives the electric signal and controls the output of the laser diodes according to the power of the optical signals inputted to the light receiving element.

    • PURPOSE: An optical channel sensitive broadband injection light source and an optical network system for the same are provided to check the connection status of optical channels and offer a large-intensity injection light source only for optical channels for which the optical connection is secured. CONSTITUTION: An optical line terminal includes a broadband light source (BLS) (20) and an optical splitter (30). The BLS provides an injection light source for the transmission of optical signals to an optical transmitter. The optical splitter re-injects the optical signals, which are wavelength-locked and sent by the optical transmitter, to the BLS. A broadband light source checks the channel connection status of the re-injected optical signals by the optical splitter. The broadband light source adjusts the signal strength of the optical signals. The broadband light source outputs the adjusted optical signals to the injection light source for the connected channels.
