    • PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to have a lowered rejection rate and stable actuation during manufacture by ensuring stable electric conductivity between opposite terminals and suppressing resistance change, capacitance change and short circuit between adjacent terminals even when an interval between the terminals is narrowed. CONSTITUTION: A particle diameter(D) of electrically conductive particles(1) is adjusted as 1/3 or less and 1μm or more of an adjacent terminal interval(Ws) in a terminal group(18B,18C). Electrically conductive particles have an electrically conductive layer covered by an electrically conductive coating. The electrically conductive coating is removed in a portion contacted with the opposite terminal group, and the terminal group and the electrically conductive layer are contacted to the portion contacted with the terminal group.

    • PURPOSE: A reflection-type LCD has a reflection-type polarization film having a scattering layer and optical absorption layer, enhances a color purity simultaneously with enhancing a display brightness, and enhances a color purity of red or green. CONSTITUTION: A reflection-type LCD(1) sequentially forms a transparent electrode and alignment film to an inner surface of one side transparent substrate, and has a reflection-type polarization film(13) to an outer surface of one side transparent substrate. The reflection-type polarization film is made by depositing a scattering film(11) and an optic absorption layer. The transparent electrode faces the alignment film. The transparent electrode and the alignment layer are sequentially formed from another side transparent substrate to an inner surface of another transparent substrate. A phase difference plate(9) and a polarization plate(10) are sequentially included from another transparent substrate. Thereby, the reflection-type LCD enhances a color purity simultaneously with enhancing a display brightness, and enhances a color purity of red or green.
