摘要： PURPOSE: A method and a system for indirectly setting up a call are provided to indirectly establish a call by triggering a call register in order to request an MSC related to a mobile station to set up the call between the mobile station and the second party concerned. CONSTITUTION: An MSC(14) receives an emergency call from a mobile station(10) through a base station(12), and transfers the emergency call to a PSAP(Public Service Answer Point) call center(20) through a PSAP switch(16), an emergency service network(18), and an interface(Ai). Call identification information is provided to an SS(Serving System)-ECR(Emergency Call Register)(26) by the MSC(14) on an Ex interface. The SS-ECR(26) forwards call information to a PSAP-ECR(24) on an Ey interface. The PSAP switch(16) forwards call information to the PSAP-ECR(24) on an Ez interface, and transfers the call information to the PSAP call center(20) on an Ea interface. The PSAP-ECR(24) transfers the call information direct to a regulation enforcement database on an Eb interface.
