    • A method for manually determining target data about device and an apparatus thereof are provided to determine target data collected from a target without movement of a transfer unit. A sonar receiving device selectively receives a sound wave transmitted from a target(Z) having sound sensors(11, 13) in a transfer unit(10). A target data(Rest, Vest, gammaest) of one or more target is manually determined with a measured azimuth(Phica, Phifa). The target data is estimated from the measured azimuth. The azimuth is measured from a plurality of processing cycles mentioned to filter length(FLn). The filter length is individually determined about each target during each processing cycle.
