摘要： PURPOSE: A novel bacteriophage, phi CJ18 (KCCM11272P), is provided to induce avian pathogenic E.coli-specific apoptosis and to have excellent acid resistance, heat resistance, and dry resistance, thereby being used as a material for preventing or treating infectious diseases caused by avian pathogenic E.coli. CONSTITUTION: A novel bacteriophage, phi CJ18 (KCCM11272P), has a specific apoptotic ability to avian pathogenic E.coli. A composition for preventing or treating infectious diseases caused by avian pathogenic E.coli contains the bacteriophage as an active ingredient. The infectious diseases are colibacillosis. A method for preventing or treating the infectious diseases comprises the step of administering the bacteriophage or the composition to poultry.
