    • PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire is provided to improve steering stability and lateral hydroplaning performance. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire comprises a plurality of internal slope lateral main grooves(9), an internal shoulder lateral groove(12), an internal middle lateral groove(10), an external shoulder lateral groove(13), an external middle lateral groove(14), and an external middle lateral sub groove(15). An internal slope lateral main groove is inwardly spread from one spot beyond a tread grounding end(TEi) toward the other spot beyond a tire equatorial surface(Co) in the axial direction of a tire. The internal shoulder lateral groove is formed in the internal shoulder rib(7i) of a vehicle mount inner side. The internal middle lateral groove is formed in the middle rib(6i) of the vehicle mount inner side. The external shoulder lateral groove is formed in the shoulder rib(7o) of a vehicle mount outer side. The external middle lateral groove is formed in the middle rib(6o) of the vehicle mount outer side. The external middle lateral sub groove is arranged between the external middle lateral grooves.
