    • An aluminum alloy plate for a battery case and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to obtain favorable formability, superior creep properties, and excellent laser welding characteristics. An aluminum alloy plate for a battery case comprises Mg of 0.2 weight % to 0.8 weight %, Cu of 0.4 weight % to 1.5 weight %, Fe of 0.6 weight % to 2.0 weight %, Si (impurity) of 0.3 weight % or less, Al and inevitable impurities. The aluminum alloy plate includes one or two of Mn of 0.3 weight % or less, Zr of 0.2 weight % or less, Cr of 0.3 weight % or less and V of 0.2 weight % or less. The aluminum alloy plate further includes Ti of 0.01 weight % to 2.0 weight % and B of 5ppm to 100ppm. In the manufacturing the aluminum alloy plate, the degree of the final cold rolling processing is 10% to 70% and a heat treatment process is performed at the temperature of 100°C to 300°C.
