摘要： PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of liquid crystal polyester is provided to manufacture liquid crystal polyester with improved mechanical strength, and satisfying productivity and molecular weight. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of liquid crystal polyester comprises: a step of forming a prepolymer by polycondensating 70.5-71.5 mol% of a compound indicated in chemical formula 1 and 28.5-29.5 mol% of a compound indicated in chemical formula 2 at 260-350 °C; a step of removing prepolymers in melt state, and manufacturing a prepolymer particle of 3 mm particle size or smaller by solidifying and breaking the prepolymer; and a step of heat-treating the prepolymer particle at 200-310 °C under inert gas-circulating condition while maintaining solid phase.
